There has been a lot of talk over the last few days about which events we are planning on attending as a club. I think there is a bit of momentum in the club regarding attending tournaments now which is good.

Hells March Crusade

Last weekend my gaming group got together for our annual invitational tournament. Every year in January or early Feb we meet for the weekend and play a really fun 1,000pt event. The rules pack inevitably has some funky stuff in it to make it interesting and because we all know each other the atmosphere is always top notch.

I took my Ultramarines for their inaugural outing.

The Stormtalon ‘Winged Vengeance’ has been requisitioned to provide air support to the Hells March campaign.

Having been commissioned in the 38th Millenium ‘Winged Vengeance’ has survived over 3 millennia of warfare, bringing death to the enemies of the Ultramarines.

Today I want to introduce Squad Caecus, led by Caecus Numanor. Earning the moniker Macragge’s Hammer after the invasion of Sotha by the Tau Empire these Centurions have claimed countless enemy vehicles in the name of Guilliman and The Emperor.

The elephant in the room…

Every now and again a marvel happens.

Something that defies the laws of nature and wows the onlooking crowd.

That happened the weekend just gone at a social club in Preston.

Gather round as I tell the tale of how a cheesy list, pure luck, my lucky dice and 5 opponents really bad dice resulted in me having the privilege of a plastic skull with glowing eyes sat on my bookshelf for the next 12 months!
